The ambitious project to renovate defunct mill buildings undertaken by The Common Man owner Alex Ray and partner Rusty McLear refreshed the Claremont area’s economy with jobs, growth and new businesses.
The century-old buildings were originally abandoned and left for waste. However, with the construction management help of ReArch Company and Conneston Construction, Inc., The Common Man Inn & Restaurant in Claremont was born.
The team’s consciousness about preserving our natural resources makes the Claremont property an excellent example of recycling, repurposing, reusing, and reinventing. The Common Man family hopes to inspire other cities and towns to take a second look at their historical assets and explore opportunities to revive them.
