At The Common Man Inn and Restaurant in Claremont, an assortment of accommodations awaits your arrival.

Each room is unique – layout, personality, design touches and more. Delight in the lush feel of our down alternative bed toppers and extra-fluffy pillows while kicking back and enjoying the modern conveniences we all desire, like flat screen TVs and complimentary Wi-Fi.

Our 30 unique rooms are filled with warm, inviting textures, including exposed cedar wood trusses, original brick, and exposed natural stone walls, all complemented by the mesmerizing rush of the Sugar River.

Signature Suites

Claremont’s unique, individual signature suites feature spacious living areas that allow guests to relax in front of the gas fireplace or lounge in a two-floor accommodation. Or, unwind in an outdoor hot tub on the deck, relaxing to the sounds of the Sugar River. Our signature suites feature generous, well-appointed bathrooms and some even have jetted bathtubs that are tucked into a cozy area. All of our suites include complimentary use of two plush bathrobes during your stay. Each suite is unique and offers different amenities. Signature Suites
We assure you, you’re not dreaming! These suites are decked with a king size bed, sleeper sofa, a generous bathroom featuring a jetted bathtub, and a cozy sitting area beside the gas fireplace.

One suite is also available as a pet-friendly option. Please call for details and availability.
Two-level Suites
At entry level, you’ll find a king or queen bed and half bath. Head downstairs to the master bedroom where a king size bed awaits you with a toasty gas fireplace and view of the Sugar River.
Two-level suites are not pet friendly.
Junior Two-Level Suite
The Junior Two-Level Suite is packed with all the necessities – queen size sleeper sofa, full bath, and master bedroom with a king size bed and gas fireplace. No matter the angle, you’ll get goose bumps peeking out the window to view the Sugar River.

Terrace Suite
Our Terrace Suite is perfect for newlyweds, anniversaries, girlfriend getaways, a quiet retreat or just to indulge yourself. This suite includes a king size bed, two queen sleeper sofas, gas fireplace, and jetted bathtub with a “peek-a-boo” window. That’s not all… step outside to your private terrace overlooking the river with an in-ground hot tub covered by a pergola which makes it available year round.

King Rooms

Each room has one king size bed, private bath, and a garden view. Can accommodate up to 3 guests.
Sunapee Suite
This suite has one king size bed, queen sleeper sofa, large private bath with dual sinks and jetted bathtub, gas fireplace, and river view. Can accommodate up to 5 guests.
Terrace Suite
The Terrace Suite is complete with one king size bed, two queen sleeper sofas, a private bath with jetted bathtub, gas fireplace, and private terrace with an in-ground hot tub and river view. Can accommodate up to 7 guests.

Pet Friendly

Bring your furry friend along! Choose from five cozy, pet-friendly rooms where your pet is welcomed with a special personalized treat and will feel right at home with a plush bed and water and food bowls.

The Common Man Inn welcomes up to two pets per room. For the safety of your pets and our staff, all pets must be comfortably crated if left unattended. A form noting our policies will be presented at check-in and a pre-check out inspection is required on all pet-friendly rooms.
